Mystery Jets Play Somerset House

The sun well and truly shone down on the first night of Somerset House's Summer Series with the Mystery Jets launching the open air gigs for 2010.

The London five-piece tore up the stage with some of their classics anthems including Young Love and Two Doors Down, as well as playing some of their latest tracks of their new album Serotonin. Their performance of their latest single Dreaming of a New World reaffirmed their place as headline act and left a buzz in the air which is sure to continue for the rest of the summer series at Somerset House this summer.

The lead singer of the Mystery Jets Blaine Harrison, chose one of his favourite bands of the minute Tribes to open the show. He described them as his “favourite band of the last ten years” and they are rumoured to be supporting them on their next tour.

Other bands still to look forward to at the Summer Series include The XX, Air, Florence and the Machine and N Dubz.
